SPSA needs your help! We continue to have problems with people parking in unauthorized areas. The small strip of parking at Sandy Plains Park adjacent to the playground and the equipment building (leading to fields 2 and 3) MUST be kept clear for emergency vehicles! Parking in this area is restricted to disabled persons, umpires, and board members and is enforced at all times.
Please don't put us in the uncomfortable position of asking you to move your vehicle.
Likewise at Bells Ferry Park please do not drive down the ramp to fields 3 and 4. This area is reserved for emergency vehicle access and is off limits!
Please observe the signage when discharging passengers at Sandy Plains. The area in front of the concession building is often congested - vehicles discharging passengers here create a safety and traffic nightmare. Please pull forward past the concession building to unload!
Parking is often at a premium at Sandy Plains Park, particularly on game days. Please be aware that the police department will ticket vehicles parked in No Parking areas. If you are scheduled for Fields 2 or 3, try the additional parking available at Pilgrimage Church on Sandy Plains Road, just north of Gordy Parkway and the Publix shopping center.
Please park only on the right as you come in or only on the left behind Field 2. The parking adjacent to the church buildings is reserved for church patrons. NO Parking on Sundays before 1:00pm.
