Located in Cobb County Georgia, Sandy Plains Park is composed of top quality athletic facilities, all within a triangle at Sandy Plains Rd, Shallowford Rd, and Gordy Pkwy. Directly across the street is an area minor emergency care center, shopping and movie stores to the east; to the south, more shopping, gas stations, and fast food. Harrison Park (baseball), Sweat Mountain Park (baseball), Lassiter High School, Sprayberry High School, and a multitude of elementary and middle schools are located to the west and south of the park. North of the park is primarily residential.

Field and Batting Cage Locations:
When you first visit Sandy Plains Park, turning into the parking lot, you will see the concession stand in front of you. Immediately to your right will be Field 1.
To your left, at the opposite end of the parking lot is Field 4.
Located behind the concession stand are the batting cages for Fields 1 and 4.
Once you've parked, walking along the path in front of Field 1 and passing the play area and the old concession stand, you will find Fields 2 and 3. Situated between these two fields are the batting cages for these fields.
